meet you at herself: about me

words to inspire.
Meet You At Herself is the byproduct for women, carrying a narrative for all the taught pieces of herself that want to burn it down. It is informed by 18 years in healthcare, including my work as a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
What endures in me is truth etched from decades sitting across from people, largely women, in their lived experiences, and that of my own: what appears on the surface rarely tells the whole story.
My coaching work centers on my natural ability to connect in spaces that are difficult to articulate, recognize the underpinnings of what is left unsaid, and spot patterns that often repeat subtly from subconscious states.
My work is for the woman who is functioning - but has begun questioning who she is beneath it all. Meet You at Herself is designed to explore one meaningful topic at a time: an identity, relationship, transition, belief, decision, pattern, or question that keeps asking for your attention.
I’m not here to tell you who to become.
I’m here to meet all the parts of you that make her who she is.

My knowledge and experience as a healthcare provider give me a unique skill set that I bring to coaching. But this isn't clinical intervention or medicine. What sets me apart from the next clinician, coach, self-help book, or video is my ability to listen and hear you. And from that, to see you.

Imagine going to five different doctors with the same problem. Four listen, make reasonable assumptions, offer recommendations, and send you on your way.
Only... you still have a problem.

Then there's doctor number five. Who questions the information, asks you to account for the pieces of the puzzle that don't quite make sense. Respectfully challenges what you've presented, but fully listens to what you have to say.
And then asks something you may not have considered:

What problem is it, exactly, that you think you have? And is that the actual problem, or the byproduct of something underneath it?

You may not leave with the answer you hoped for, but you leave with something you didn't have before: a different perspective and a better understanding.
I am, metaphorically speaking, #5.
And the foundation of how I help starts with listening.
my approach.
I approach coaching as an intentional conversation that honors autonomy. We begin with what brought you into the room and follow it wherever it needs to go. There is no predetermined path or formula to follow. Each session is shaped by the person, topic, and what emerges in the conversation.
My approach is also for the woman who is intentional about knowing what she needs to accomplish, but remains unclear in the space of how.
In either scenario, you can expect me to offer guidance in each session. The guidance may be in the form an observation, an angle or perspective you may not have considered, or helping you to break down the complexity of nuances so that the next step becomes clear. You can also expect me to verify with you if my approach during your session is what you need.

My interests in writing, poetry, art, nature, spirituality, and philosophy are more than personal pursuits. They are meaningful forms of expression that shape how I understand the world and approach my work.
Throughout these pieces, you'll also find traces of my personal style: direct, analytical, and willing to challenge assumptions, while remaining intuitive, empathetic, and attentive to what often goes unspoken.

There's something authentic in finding another person to be free in. Authenticity isn't something I turn on for a conversation. It's what I’m built on.

That doesn't mean finding a person who has all the answers, but another person meeting you exactly where you are.

Because I’ve never been one to color inside the lines, I was intentional about the design for Meet You at Herself. I wanted to give women the freedom and autonomy of not being obligated to course commitments. And in the same way, provide support within this structure while reducing the fear of failure or feeling forced to conform to something inauthentic to you.
Each coaching conversation includes personalized feedback during the session, honest collaboration, and, if necessary, space to navigate sustainable actions that make sense to you and are determined by you. I won’t promise any of this as a guarantee of success, but as information to help you make an informed decision.
In this, I honor the value of simplicity while holding space for nuance. You can expect honesty from me, not a performance. Because there’s no forward progression from falsehoods.
Nothing more, nothing less.
You are the author of your story.
That is my way of honoring the story that is yours.

meet me here.

If I asked you to describe your life to me today, would it reflect a life that was authentic to you? If you’re working towards progression but have now stalled, what’s your next move?
Because the woman who has been sitting with the same unresolved situation for months isn't necessarily stuck from a lack of answers. Sometimes, you're stuck because not all questions can be answered from inside the structure producing the problem. Six months from now, where do you imagine the pattern within yourself will be?
If you're looking for coaching that promises transformation, breakthroughs, empowerment, or guaranteed outcomes, I am not for you.
Additionally, if you're looking for someone to make your decisions, provide all the answers, or assume responsibility for the accountability that belongs to you, I am also not for you.
If, however, you recognize an opportunity for change within Meet You at Herself, this is where coaching might make sense for you. That opportunity begins with your willingness to own your authorship and welcome honesty, guidance, feedback, and support. The journey begins below.
